Why Korean military officers are being retired

I graduated from Korea Military Academy.

But now I retired from army officer. 

Maybe people think I am a graduate of KMA and having a secured career in Korean army.

 

But it is not true at all.

 

There are several reasons cause why army officers are retiring from the Korea army.

 

First, the salary of soldiers are rising contrast to the army officers do not. 

Almost of the soldiers monthly salary touches 900 usd if they ranked up to sergent.

It is going to touch 1800 usd by 2025.

In contrast, the salary of second lieutenant and staff sergent's monthly salary is only 1300 usd.

If this situation continues who wants to serve as a rooky officer of the army. 

Maybe patriotism does not work any more.

 

Secondly, the career of army officers are so negative.

Cause of the low birthrate in Korea, the numbers of division and corps are decreasing.

So, the position of colonels and generals are also decrease. 

 

As you know, the service as an army officer is so harsh. 

If their life is not only harsh, but also their career is not succesful......

Why they have to work as an army officer any more?

 

In this situation, the answer is, 

to have more AI and robotic sodiers and autonomous war machines are needed.

 

And also the army officers have to be a professional on IT war system and AI. 

 

And they have to be paid as their profesional ability related with modern warfare.

They have to be paid like highst rank in global top company if they compensate enough knowledge for this. 

If not, I think the Korean army does not effective any more. 

 

The future warfare would be managed by drone, missile and autonomous war machine and highly disciplined special troops. The army officers has to be transformed to appropriate for this.
